    Disc 5 The Unreleased 1978 album with Daryl Hall vocals, from a production master with catalogue number POLD5013, with alternate takes and rough mixes from the sessions with Darly Hall. Previously unreleased.

    既に多く語られている通り、フリップのファースト・アルバムはダリル・ホールのヴォーカルがフィーチャーした 『 Last Of The Great New York Heartthrobs 』 としてリリースする用意がされていた。 それに対しダリル・ホールのマネージメント側からクレームが入り、ホールのヴォーカルの多くをピーター・ハミルとテリー・ローチェに差し替えミックスを修正してリリースしたのが 『 Exposure 』 である。

    『 Last Of The Great New York Heartthrobs 』 は2つのヴァージョンがマスターされたらしいが、ここではPOLD5013というレコード番号がついたマスターと、当時のオルタナティブ・テイクとラフ・ミックスが収録されている。

    またここには、当時フォリナーで活動していたイアン・マクドナルド参加テイク（ 『 Exposure 』 では外されていた）が収録されている。
    ” Exposure II ” はヴォーカル無しでフリップのギターとマクドナルドのフルートが絡む。
    そして ” Exposure IV ” は、” Exposure II ” と同じくヴォーカル無しでフリップにギターとマクドナルドがフルート、更にティム・キャペロのサックスが絡み完成度が非常に高い内容となっている。

    Disc 6 The Original 1979 release, 24 bit remaster by Simon Heyworth and Robert Fripp 2005. Previously available on DGM0601 Exposure 2CD ( 2006 ). Loops for Here Comes The Flood, recorded May 1978. Previously unreleased.

    1979年にリリースされた 『 Exposure 』 の First Edition。 音源としては、2005年にリミックスした上で2006年に 2CD でリリースされた 『 Exposure 』 に収録されたものに、” Here Comes The Flood ” 用のループ音源が追加されている。
    この First Edition はフリップが考えていた本来あるべき姿ではないし、例えば ” Exposure ” についてはテリー・ローチェのヴァーカル・ヴァージョンより本ボックスの CD5 に収録されているインスト・ヴァージョンの方が遙かに格好良い。 にもかかわらず聴いた回数が一番多いからか、このエディションが聴いていて一番しっくりくる。

    Disc 7 The 2006 release, comprising the 1983 remix by Brad Davies and Robert Fripp with the addition of three Daryl Hall vocals, 24 bit remaster by Simon Heyworth and Robert Fripp in 2005. Previously available on DGM601.

    1から22曲目は、2006年に 2CD フォーマットでリリースされた 『 Exposure 』 の CD2 と同じ音源である。 2006年盤の CD2 はは本CDの1から17曲目を Third Edition、18から22曲めを alternative takes と細かくクレジットを分けていたが、ここでは一括して Third Edition としている。
    23曲目はピーター・ガブリエルの 『 Peter Gabriel (2枚目) 』 から、24,25曲目はダリル・ホールの 『 Sacred Songs 』 から収録されている。 当時フリップはこの2作品と 『 Exposure 』 を MOR trilogy と（一方的に）呼んでいただけに、本ボックスにおいては本来この3曲に留まらず MOR trilogy 3作品を収録してほしかった。 契約上とても無理だったとは思うが。
    さいごの ” Here Comes The Flood ( early mix ) ” については詳細クレジットがない。

    スティーヴン・ウィルソンが2021年に新たにリミックスした 『 Exposure 』 で、Fourth Edition と定義づけられている。
    Edition というと凄そうだが、これは 『 Exposure 』 において過去に Edition という表現が使われてきたからに過ぎない。 キング・クリムゾンの過去のボックスにおいても新しいミックスやリマスターがリリースされてきており大した違いは無い。
    18曲目から22曲目のダリル・ホールによるヴォーカル・ヴァージョンは、Blu-ray 25 において Fifth Edition として活用されている。

    Disc 9 Mixed by Steven Wilson from the original multi-track tapes ( 2021 ) and sequenced in a similar order to the original unreleased 1978 album, with a previously unused alternate title idea. Loops For Married Men recorded for, but not used by, The Roches. Previously unreleased.

    本ディスクは、スティーヴン・ウィルソンによるミックスを 『 Last Of The Great New York Heartthrobs 』 の曲順に沿って編集したものである。
    『 Breathless or How I Gradually Internalised The Social Reality Of Manhattan Until It Seemed To Be A Very Reasonable Way Of Life、というタイトルは、” Breathless ” の原タイトルとのこと。
    Last Of The Great New York Heartthrobs Second Edition、とどっちが良かったか判らない。
    ” Loops For Married Mne ” は、ローチェスの1979年の作品 『 The Roches 』 に収録されている ” The Married Men ” に使われているループ音。 4分30秒程の ” The Married Men ” にフリッパートロニクスが出てくるのはほんの一部なのだが、” Loops For Married Mne ” 自体は30分強の演奏となっている。
