キング・クリムゾンの2019年のツアー・ボックス。
6作品目のツアー・ボックスの特徴を挙げると、「Suite」 づくしとなるのだろうか。 ” Lizard Suite ” や ” Radical Action Suite ” といった曲だけではなく、「 ProjeKcts Suite 」 と 「 Sus-Tayn-Z Suite 」 と題したまとめを配置している。 勿論後者は多少無理があるのだが、そうした無理も加えることでボックスとしての特徴を出したのであろう。
あと、既発音源に加え、近く発表される作品からちょい出しするという構成はいつも通りなのだが、いくつかの曲に 「 Previously released on 2017 Royal Package CD set Only 」 とクレジットされていることが気になる。 日本の2018年の Royal Package で購入できた 『 Audio Diary 2014-2017 』 に収録されていない日時の曲があるだけに、その全貌を知りたい。

CD1の特徴は以下の通り。

” Cat Food ” が2019年のツアーから新たにレパートリーに加えられたことを踏まえてか、キース・ティペットのピアノ・テイクを収録している。 この辺り、機を見た選曲である。

CD2の特徴は以下の通り。

前述した 「 ProjeKcts Suite 」 だが、ProjeKct Two の ” VROOOM ” 以外の3曲は、オリジナルより短い編集がなされている。 多分多くの方は 『 Heaven & Earth 』 の ProjeKct の音源を聴き終えるのに苦労していると思うが、それで全てが終わるわけではなく、本作品に収録されている編集違いもしっかりと聴かなければならない。
