The music on this CD was recorded at B.B.Kings' Blues Club in Times Square, New York City on the evening of April the 27th 2004, and is a mixture of both the early and late shows.

前作 『 Live In Italy 』 からほぼ1年後のライヴを収録した作品。
ドラムがウォーレスにチェンジしたものの収録曲がジャイルズ兄在籍時とほとんど変わらなかった前作と異なり、今回は新たに ” Cirkus ”、” Cadence And Cascade ”、” Sailors Tale ” といった曲に加え、” Starless ” を収録していることが目玉となっている。　特に” Starless ” はソプラノがコリンズでアルトがマクドナルドという、オリジナルそのままの楽器を演奏しているのが嬉しい。　この組み合わせは、21st CSB でなければできなかったことである。
一方、コリンズの ” Spend Us Three ” やジャコの ” Catelys Ashes ” などのオリジナルは楽曲自体の魅力が乏しいし、” 21st Century Schizoid Man ” におけるコリンズとマクドナルドのソロ合戦は冗長的で散漫な印象を受ける。　21st CSB に対してクリムゾンのハイ・レベルなコピーを求める聴き手に問題があるのかもしれないが、コピーとは異なるオリジナルな要素をこれ以上増やさないことを期待したい。
